Peter Muhando
Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness

My name is Peter Muhando, a third-year student at Sokoine University of Agriculture, pursuing Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness. Honestly, I am here because of the FUES organization.
The first time I met FUES was when they visited our school to offer Career Counselling and Guidance focused on STEM careers. That day changed everything for me. I was inspired, and for the first time, I understood where to begin so that my dream could become a reality. Before that, I had no clear idea which area of STEM I should focus on—but FUES gave me direction.
I stayed connected with FUES by joining different programs, including hands-on STEM activities. Their mentorship helped me perform well in my O-level subjects, and they continued supporting me in A-level, where I took PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and succeeded. Eventually, I was selected to pursue Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness—a field I chose because I am passionate about solving challenges in agriculture.
Today, I am the Co-Founder of Just Green TZ, working to address climate challenges, and I also serve as the General Secretary of the Youth of the United Nations Association.
Reaching this point is not by chance—FUES has truly shaped my future, and I am grateful for their continuous guidance and support.
