Charity J. Athanasio

Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery Student

My interest in medicine grew stronger the moment I was exposed to hands-on STEM activities with FUES. It was no longer just theory from textbooks—I could see how science connects to solving real-
life problems.

Through mentorship, career guidance, and practical experiences, FUES helped me believe that becoming a doctor was not only possible but within my reach. The support I received shaped my focus and gave me the resilience I needed to keep moving forward.

Now, as a student pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Kampala International University in Tanzania, I carry the lessons and confidence built through FUES, determined to make an impact in healthcare.
